This position leads development and integrates delivery of public health programs throughout South Dakota.
The incumbent is responsible for overall operations and administration of public health services provided through community health offices located in nearly every county of the state, including accountability for all administrative, supervisory, and technical components of public health programs, monitoring trends in communities served, adjusting programming and staffing as needed, and evaluating the operation of community health services.
