Member Service Representative

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME
DESCRIPTION:
Serves as the front-line liaison between the member and the credit union. Provides information via phone and in person. Opens accounts for new members, resolves issues, and professionally handles member's daily needs. Performs a variety of transactional services for members.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient, courteous and accurate service in the processing of member transactions.
Provide in-person and by-telephone service-related information concerning credit union services and policies.
May respond via email or to other electronic member transmissions.
Respond to members' requests, problems or complaints and/or direct them to appropriate personnel.
Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
Handle requests for member transactions within our share/loan servicing platform.
Promote credit union products and services.
Process member transaction received in mail.
Research accounts to resolve member questions.
Assist members in balancing accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
HS diploma. GREAT member service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy. Must be bondable. Flexible schedule which includes some Saturdays.
WAGES:
Variable DOE
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
