Connection Center Representative

This position is responsible for managing the front desk of the Goodwill Connection Center. Will greet and direct all visitors in person and over the phone. Assist with the use of computer software and programs. Identify and resolve basic computer problems. Provide light housekeeping duties. Bilingual highly preferred.
High school graduate/GED preferred, but not required.
Previous helpdesk experience preferred but not required.
Experience with computer hardware and trouble shooting technical issues.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software and internet research skills.
Ability to communicate well with diverse populations.
Bi-lingual skills preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software.
Basic Internet research skills and ability to access internet job bank sites.
Must show attention to detail.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
