Responsibilities: Preparation of salads, desserts and baking are the primary responsibilities. Additional responsibilities are to occasionally assist serving at Maryhouse Long Term Care Center and Parkwood Independent Living Center; and other duties as assigned in the dishroom, dryside and cafeteria.
Experience: Previous baking and cooking experience is preferred. Knowledge: Knowledge of rules and regulations for food handlers.Knowledge of standards and techniques for preparation and service of food.Numerical ability to calculate proportions.Able to read and comprehend recipes. Skills: Able to work quickly and efficiently; able to make quick deci sions.Able to communicate with people of all ages, educational and cultural backgrounds.
