Job Summary
- Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care, demonstrating accountability as an individual and team member.
- Synthesizes information from a variety of sources to develop and implement and individualized collaborative plan of care.
- Documents the actions taken to address the plan of care. Works closely with the care team to coordinate patient activities for complete patient continuum of care.
- Provides timely, continuous, age appropriate, collaborative assessment and preparation of patients and families for the next level of care.
- Provides and documents nursing care to patients of all ages.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- 3 years of experience required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a LPN in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire and must be maintained.
Work Schedule
- Position requires 72 hours worked in a six-week schedule equating to 624 hours annually, not exceeding 1248 hours in a 12-month period.
- Six weekends required annually.
Pay
Flat rate pay of $35.00 per hour
