Avera is now hiring a Maintenance Technician II for maintenance duties!Position Highlights:

Avera St Mary's Named Top 20 Rural Community Hospital Job Summary Performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and major component overhaul on the facility structure, equipment, and grounds, particularly refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Responsible for the operation, testing, and inspection of refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing related equipment within the complex.
Will report back to duty when the facility experiences a major problem in these areas.
Works under general supervision with work subject to check by the Director and/or the Supervisor.
Has a thorough, working knowledge of the principles and procedures of the work involved.
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required.
Vo Tech School degree or HVAC degree required, based on role; or equivalent years of experience in at least one of the following:
Training in mechanical/electrical skills Training in HVAC Training in refrigeration systems Training in plumbing Minimum of two (2) years in building and equipment maintenance preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration License/certification field must be maintained and/or updated as needed.
Valid driver's license and insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule7:
00 am - 3:
30 pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks 1 in 9 weekends 1 in 9 holidays Occasional call time PayThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
